The big debate!!

Year 4 have been learning about Volcanoes this week and had to debate whether they would live next to a volcano or not! They were given reasons and had to sort these into for or against and decide why these were good or bad reasons! Here are some of our examples:

Information overload!

MYear 4 have been learning about non-chronological reports this week! We recapped the features of these reports and are able to give facts about each of these! 

We started learning about taking notes and how we can use bullet points to organise these! Here are some examples of our notes!

Parts of Speech!

In Year 4, we have been revising the different parts of speech. Today we had to go through a story and identify all the nouns, adjectives and verbs that we could find! Here are some examples of each type of word. At home, ask us to give you a definition and example of each word! 

Extreme Earth!

Today we began our new topic of 'Extreme Earth'! We have been looking at the formation of volcanoes and the different ways in which the tectonic plates move. We were also labelling the different parts of a volcano.
